STARLITE AVIATION LED LIGHTING SYSTEMS

 

Starlite Aviation Technologies LLC is now a supplier for LED lighting systems for experimental and soon to be certified aircraft. This manufacturer uses only the best LED lights in the industry to assure good quality and service.

We use these landing lights in our Lancair 4P and our Glasair III. We switched over because the filament type would have to be replaced so often due to the vibration in the cowl where the light was mounted. Since replacing them with the LED we can see better, have a built in wig/wag, use less amperage, and haven't had to replace the unit for over the last 200 hours of flight time.

Starlite Aviation tested this light for the manufacturer on unimproved landing strips, hot Yuma Arizona summers, and carrier style landings. We have no doubt this is one tough light that comes with a warranty for 50,000 hours.

We are awaiting FAA certification for certified aircraft and hope to have it in the first quarter of 2011. We have already started tooling for a complete changeover of the Socata TBM series. We will have all the other aircraft soon with an easy to bolt in replacement light.

These lights illuminate the airport environment much better than the old filament type and don't burn out. This will most likely be the last light you buy for your aircraft.
